Ope Adesina is a Nigerian, married and based in Melbourne, Australia.
He completed his Bachelor’s degree at Redeemer’s University, Nigeria and obtained his Masters of Arts International Relations with specialisation in International Law and Human Rights from Deakin University, Australia. In 2014,
Ope founded The Run Giants Club, a Non-Governmental Organization with a strong vision to raise Giants in different aspects of life, and has so far impacted close to 500 young adults positively. In February 2018, Ope represented Australia at the United Nations Youth Convention in New York. Ope and his wife began the Light Be Foundation, an initiative aimed at giving a voice and light to young people by promoting their visions, ideas and talents. In the past decade, he has been involved in several leadership roles, mentoring youth, leading community development projects, facilitating the rehabilitation of orphanages, providing welfare and academic support, career and entrepreneur guidance as well as numerous training sessions.
He is the Founder and CEO of Maskil Gems Limited and a senior partner at WeCare Teams™. Ope is a role model to a lot of young people in his community and beyond and believes in giving back to society.
